Judge Linda Vanzi is genuine, smart, and well respected. She has a diverse background and excellent qualifications to serve as Bernalillo County District Court Judge in the Civil Division. She comes from a legal background with a broad general civil practice in the areas of civil rights, employment law, personal injury, child abuse and neglect, and commercial law.

Judge Vanzi spent her formative years in countries that do not enjoy the liberties and protections that we have in the United States. She emerged from that experience with an unwavering commitment to, and appreciation for, our justice system.

As a lawyer in New Mexico, Judge Vanzi has a reputation for being hard working and intelligent, and has earned the respect of lawyers and litigants on both sides of each issue.

She is actively involved as a volunteer in the community through many professional and civic organizations.

Judge Vanzi is one of those rare and authentic people who wins hearts with hard work and enthusiastic service to her community.

Her qualifications won the confidence of three different Judicial Selection Commissions, as well as Governor Bill Richardson.
