Protest the Book Banners

We need your help again! I got an email from Caitlin McAnally (below) this morning and it appears that Mass Resistance is coming to a Library near you!! This coming Monday, August 14th, Mass Resistance is going to show up at the Library board meeting which is being held at the Loma Colorado Library at 5:30 PM. Please come out to support and protect our libraries, the ALA, and our first amendment rights from this group.

If you would like to speak at this meeting some suggested talking points could be:

We are inclusive.

We are not trying to destroy anything

Rather, we are inclusive and we realize that today, in 2023, families are made-up loving individuals that support each other, regardless of their sexual or religious orientations.

We believe in America where we are allowed to live our lives as we see fit and not conform to what others would like us to be.

We believe in the first amendment, free speech, and the choice to read books of our liking

As always these are just suggestions so feel free to speak your mind!
