Announcements and Events
Americans United is proud to partner with the photojournalism project “Focus on Abortion” to bring attention to the connection between abortion rights and church-state separation. This powerful exhibit includes a display on AU’s lawsuit challenging abortion bans in Missouri as a violation of religious freedom and church-state separation. It aims to encourage thoughtful conversations and reflection around this often-polarizing subject through the photos and stories of people who have had abortions, as well as their partners, health care providers, and others.

Each person in the “Focus on Abortion” project is represented by a photographic portrait and a first-person narrative. These stories can help mitigate the profound stigma that surrounds abortion and encourage more people to support everyone’s right to make their own decisions about their own bodies based on their own beliefs – as our country’s commitment to church-state separation requires.
