Get Involved: Do Something!
Run for something
- Run for something: get involved as a candidate.
- Our Candidate Support program gives seed money and advice to our local campaigns.
- We hold the Keep Sandoval Blue event to raise funds so DPSC can support our county candidates.
Help with campaigns
- Write postcards
- Knock on doors for candidates. This is probably the most effective way to engage voters and motivate them to vote.
- Make phone calls for candidates.
Help with ongoing behind-the-scenes work
From managing our social media accounts to lending a hand at events, there is useful work for all talents and abilities.

- Post/Repost DPSC activities on social media.

Join in one of our protests, if you are so inclined. Information about these events is sent out weekly in our newsletter.
If you happen to see someone being bullied/harassed by masked people. . .
- Do not directly engage with law enforcement, but DO document what happens. Videos can be extremely powerful.
- If you see something happening, you can live-stream it on social media.
- Try to get names of detainees and the organization that oversees the operation.
